Manila, Philippines – On March 18, local time, the HIVE Hybrid Data Center, co-constructed by China Railway No.8 Engineering Group, officially opened in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
The HIVE Hybrid Data Center is located in Metro Manila and is the second ultra-large data center in the Philippines constructed with the participation of China Railway No.8 Engineering Group, following the Batangas Super Core Data Center. The project deeply integrates intelligent technologies such as HPC, AI, and cloud computing to create a low-carbon, efficient intelligent computing hub, aiming to advance the region’s digitalization and serve the Southeast Asian market. China Railway No.8 Engineering Group undertook tasks related to electromechanical equipment installation, HVAC, water supply and drainage, and auxiliary municipal works.
Since construction began, the project team of China Railway No.8 Engineering Group has successfully met all schedule and progress requirements set by the project owner through proactive planning, early material procurement, and efficient resource coordination. Their high-level management and resource coordination capabilities have earned them multiple letters of commendation and appreciation from the project owner.
